The Honda Engine is the Inhalation of Air Tuning especially said
to be difficult .
As for the Honda Engine, balance is maintained at the high dimension
by the Trinity of Inhalation of Air, Engine, and an Exhaust .
It is said that gap of the balance of the Trinity occurred by adding
a hand to the either, the output characteristic of power or torque
collapsed greatly, and the result that the more normal one was faster
almost was brought when observed synthetically .
This is not limited to Twin-cam VTEC engine of the high power type
into which a High-cam made of the manufacturer is purely built, and
applies to the i-DSI engine of super-low fuel cost and VTEC engine
of a Single-cam of high power and low fuel cost like Fit .
It is the engine with which all three kinds of character is completely
different .
However, it must be an efficient engine by which of each improved
propriety in the forte to the utmost limit .
'Accumulation of air' is necessary for the NA Engine differing from
the Turbo Engine .
( NA : Natural Aspiration or Normal Aspiration )
Before, I have asked the talk to a certain leading figure Filter Maker's
man about inhalation of air for NA engine .
This 'Accumulation of air' had said that about 2.5 times to 3 times
the engine displacement were good .
I have forgotten completely by double Dutch though that was explained
considerably in detail at that time .
It describes also "Inhalation
efficiency" of DIY a little more .
The measures against heat of inhalation air are not taken this time
.
(It'is keeping the air introduction tube of genuine parts.)

LS Power Box made from Last
Station .
Installing is very easy .
Since I am swapping for i-DSI 1.5 (MOBILIO Engine), position of
a throttle is high about 15mm .
and, since the battery case was obstructing even if it made the
battery slide, since the battery was enlarged from the standard,
it removed . |

To make the best use of the characteristic of High-cam and Power
Box further, the setting of LS e-manage was taken heart later .
After all that it wants ability of 100% to be demonstrated .
(Of course, just installing also pulls up the engine characteristic
to high dimension.)
This is a scene where the A/F(Air Fuel Ratio) sensor is installed
in the Front Pipe for the LS e-manage setting . |

How many times is it already nearly?.
Turning Chassis Dynamo Meter at each change of the specification
of the car .
When opening completely in the state immediately after reset that
cleared the learning function, A/F was matched to 12.1 .
If a learning function works and it continues riding for a while,
A/F will become thin to about 14-15 at the time of accel-pedal full
open .
Although mileage is extended, the upper punch power ...

It has become very Spartan engine room by one Air cleaner .
I think, here is "A man becomes silent and is a chimneystack
paint" of a frosting black because it is too showy for me .

Feeling considerably changed only into the installation of the power
box .
The decrease in the engine torque of the worried low RPM is not at
all, and is equal to normality .
Ordinarily, torque of the low RPM often usually used in the town because
of running decreases to the combination of usual mushroom type air
cleaners and muffler exchange .
It tended to become a car that did not run if not stepping on the
accelerator for that .
But, the torque of low RPM is equal to normality .
It is easy to drive very much .
I was able to feel the improvement of torque & power in the middle
and high RPM that had stepped into lightly, saying that full force
and "Is it true?".
It was not exaggerated and was close to change just feel like when
installing LS e-manage .
It was honestly surprised for this when changing into here .
Afterwards, because a high cam was united and I had wanted to draw
out all the performances of the installation parts by 100%, and did
the actual vehicle arrangement setting .
A Man, because the desire goes out .
Change is not in the low RPM .
It'is equal to normality .
The setting is "laughing..." in the middle and high RPM
that gives priority .
It laughs instinctively .
Afterwards, the half-smile continues whenever the accelerator is stepped
into .
The improvement of the horsepower with Chassis Dynamo Meter graph
was 7 H.P.
The Abt Lupo muffler that has fallen into the state of the blocking
has completely thwarted it in the high rotation region .
The muffler influences it, and standing up of the torque in the middle
RPM and the accel response are actually quick, and it'is the highest
in running like "Stepping on, Pulling out, Stepping on, Pulling
out" though it seems not to be a great difference in the maximum
horsepower after just installing and after the setting .
Suction noise that enters indoors is hardly heard as long as it doesn't
step into it .
" Shuu..."sound when idling is not anxious either .
(This "Shuu..." sound is the sound of the air inhaled in
the rectangular hole opened in front of the throttle butterfly at
the time of an idling. if is it whistle shape, it "Pi....p"
sound?.)
Even if the accel pedal stepped into, a big jarring "Cwo-"
sound is not so heard .
It's extent in which comfortable Tuned feelings can be tasted .
This is the degree size of favorable impression privately .
Air inhalation sound of turbine, blowing return sound of accelerator
when it is off, Sound of open at wastegate to which the atmosphere
was opened etc, I entirely fitted in thorough tuning before .
So, it's already enough about tuned sounds .
However, although it is also in "One day report Part VIII.",
it is made terrific sound not suitable the shopping specification
vehicle at the time of an accelerator full open run by the high load
heard out of a car .

TOYOTA 2JZ engine .
Port grinding .
Use the Router,a sandpaper is twisted at a tip and a port is deleted
carefully .
It differs from not doing to doing though it is honest work at all

It is the work which processes expansion of the diameter of a
port, and the unevenness of the surface of a wall for a flat, or
loses the level difference of an Intake Manifold or Exhaust Manifold
attachment mouth .
I heard it is more effective to NA than the turbo car .
By the way, the exhaust port is considerably smaller than the diameter
of normal Exhaust Manifold though the person who removes Exhaust
Manifold of a Fit thinks that it understands .
